AccessTech Program

If you run a Micro Business, are thinking of starting one, or have ideas about hobbies that could be turned into a Micro Business, then The Deans Marsh Cottage would love you to get involved with our program.

AccessTech aims to assist Micro Business development in our community by providing access to a range of technologies, information and tips.

This technology may be in the form of access to equipment like computers, photocopiers and various apps, or it may be access to assistance in developing your Micro Business’ on-line presence, and the skills to maintain it.

As part of our program we are offering the free video presentations below, designed to get you ready to do business online. You can work through the content at your own pace and book a session with our AccessTech Team should you require further assistance. And don’t forget to submit your business details for inclusion in our Local Directory

We are also exploring establishing a co-working space in Deans Marsh but at this stage most AccessTech activity is happening on-line.

If you require access to computers or printing/photocopying service please contact The Cottage.

About the AccessTech Program

This program has been made possible thanks to a grant by the FRRR – Foundation for Regional and Rural Renewal.

FRRR match funding to recipients, and although the grant was initially awarded in early 2020, for obvious reasons the program was delayed and postponed – it was graciously agreed to reset the timelines for the program to allow it to be put together and made available to you in mid-2021.

As a community-building project, we are keen to hear your constructive feedback. What else could be done to promote and grow the micro business economy in Deans Marsh? Get in touch with to let us know.

Meet your AccessTech Team!
