The Deans Marsh Community Cottage Committee of Management (CoM) wishes to extend an invitation to all members of the Deans Marsh and District community to attend the Cottage AGM and Volunteers Celebration which is to be held:

5:00 pm – 7.00 pm
Thursday, 2 November, 2023 
Deans Marsh Memorial Hall 

Refreshments will be provided after the meeting.

The Cottage is an important part of our local community and your involvement is vital in ensuring the Cottage continues to deliver a diverse range of programs and events and meets evolving community needs.  The AGM provides the opportunity for you to join with the Cottage CoM and staff to recognize the achievements of the Cottage over the last twelve months and celebrate the significant contribution of volunteers to making Cottage activities a success.

If you are not a member of the Cottage we encourage you to join.  There are no ‘strings’ attached to being a member but joining up gives you the opportunity to vote at the AGM, as well as signally your support for the Cottage more generally. Register to become a Cottage Member here.

If you do want to be more involved you are invited to nominate for the Cottage CoM.  All CoM positions (officer bearers and general members) are elected annually and become vacant at the AGM.  CoM Meetings are held monthly, currently on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in becoming a member of the CoM please submit a 2023 COM Nomination Form by 5pm on Tuesday, 31 October, 2022.

The Cottage also relies heavily on the efforts of volunteers to deliver its full schedule of activities.  If you would like to support the Cottage through volunteering, either as a once off or regularly, you are encouraged to provide your details to the Coordinator at [email protected] or 0499 851 334.
