The Dog Pro Deans Marsh Dog Trials & Market are on this weekend!

DOG PRO DOG TRIALS

Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January 2024
Deans Marsh Recreation Reserve
10 Pennyroyal Valley Road

Come along and watch a three-day test of skill, training and the bond between handler and dog.
Many of the triallers have represented Australia in the Trans-Tasman trial against NZ, so you will see some top competitors with their wonderfully trained dogs over the 3 days.

Spend a leisurely Sunday watching the final day of the three-day competition.
Plus wander through stalls showcasing a variety of local produce, arts, crafts, food & wine.
It’s guaranteed to be another great weekend in the beautiful setting of Deans Marsh Memorial Reserve.

DOG TRIALS INFORMATION

Friday 19 Jan
8am – 7pm
Novice Trial
The Novice event is for young dogs learning their paces or dogs that have not won in a Novice event.

Saturday 20 Jan – Open & Improver
8am – 5pm
Improver is for dogs that have won a novice trial and are moving up the ranks.
Open is for the top dogs!

Sunday 21 Jan – Open, Improver & finals!
8am – 5pm

PLUS, DON’T MISS THE LEARNERS EVENT 
Friday 19 January
5pm – 8pm
Friday Night local farmers and dog handlers, who are new to the sport can enter to have a go in a Learner’s event. They will be partnered with an experienced dog trainer to walk around with the course with them, and mentor them for their first experience.
