Positive Ageing Month (formerly Seniors Festival) is an annual celebration in October of people aged 55 and over.

There are numerous local events and activities being held across the Surf Coast Shire to celebrate Positive Ageing Month.

It is Mental Health Week this week as well as Positive Ageing Month. Join us for a Mad Hatter’s Morning Tea Party at the Winchelsea Shire Hall!

Jules Haddock from Art of the Minds will present on “Letting go of future worries through improved mental health”. Jules will guide you in understanding how our thoughts impact us, but can be changed. We can see the world as a safer and wonderful place. Regardless of what the storms of life throw at us, we can learn to be resilient in our own boats with a little brain training!

Make or bring a special Mad Hat and try and win a prize! Includes a scrumptious morning tea.

Would you like to learn how to get the best out of your IPad or IPhone?  With guidance from volunteer tutors this session will provide you with all the tips and tricks you need to maximise the use of your digital devices.  There will be time for one-on-one support and a delicious afternoon tea will be served!  It’s also Get On-Line Week so get on board!
